The Wilderness Club

APEC is continuing to provide Civil Engineering support for the next phase of the Wilderness Club development. Currently six single family homes have been started and are under construction. Phase 3 of the development has been submitted to the county and state offices for review. We are currently preparing a Planned Unit Development (PUD) submittal for the phase beyond what has already been submitted and approved. Later this spring and summer utility extensions will be constructed in at least two diferent areas to serve the next addition of approximately 30 lots.
The Wilderness Club is a upscale golf course and living community located on 545 acres northwest of Eureka Montana. There are 272 homes and 47 cabins planned within this development along with an 18 hole golf course. APEC Engineering was selected by the developers to provide land use planning, environmental permitting and review, public road design, bid letting, contractor selection, construction administration and certification. Construction plans and permitting was completed in 2007. Currently two phases of construction and the golf course are completed. APEC Engineering prepared design plans, reports and specifications for a new public water supply and wastewater collection and treatment system for review and eventual approval from Montana Department of Environmental Quality. In addition, we are also providing Structural Engineering services for the design and construction of communal support facilities such as the irrigation pumphouse and maintenance facilities.
